Conditions of use
We, Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec, the Desjardins caisses in Quebec and Caisse Desjardins Ontario Credit Union Inc., developed the School Caisse mobile application (the "app") to help you and your children learn about financial literacy. Children enrolled in the School Caisse program can use the app to view information about their account. Parents and legal guardians can also use it to view information about their accounts or their children's accounts.
You agree to comply with each of these terms as soon as you use the app for the first time. Please read them carefully.
If you don't agree with one or more terms outlined here, please refrain from downloading and using the app.
User eligibility
Age and parental authorization
The School Caisse app was developed for financial education purposes. It's designed for children of all ages, although the secure section is exclusively reserved for members of the School Caisse program. Either way, kids need the authorization of a parent or guardian in order to use the School Caisse app.
The safety of children who use this app is important to us. Parents are encouraged to become familiar with the app and decide whether or not it's appropriate for their children. They're also responsible for monitoring their child's use of it. Once a parent or guardian decides to let their child use the app, we encourage them to use it with them so that they can take part in the learning journey.
Geographical limitations
You must live in Canada to download the app. That said, you can use it anywhere in the world.
User responsibility
Let us know right away if you experience any problems
Please let us know immediately if you think someone has accessed the secure section of the app without your permission or believe they might be able to. For example, let us know if someone has your login credentials. We can help you find a way to resolve the issue.
Respecting your agreements with us
In addition to the terms of use, you must always respect the rules that govern your School Caisse account.
If you fail to respect either agreement, we can limit or suspend your access to the School Caisse app on a temporary or permanent basis.
